We’re not even there yet.

(I don’t condone or support this movie in its entirety as I have not seen it and don’t plan on doing so because of the rating. However a friend shared this clip with me a few years ago and I quite enjoy it.)

I try my hardest to look for the small simple beauties around me. I thrive off this. Love and therefore life isn’t about the grand gestures, but rather unexpected moments of clarity that help in realizing what really matters is the who that is giving, not what or how it is being given. We all give in different ways the parts of us that we can. It’s in our best interest if we can learn to accept these differences. It’s when we close ourselves off because of fear, pride or insecurity that we miss out on opportunities to give and receive love (I’m talking about love in general. Not specifically the romantic type.). I’m sure you might be wondering what all of that has to do with the clip. I’m not quite sure, but I do know that it portrays the purest sweetest sort of love that can even be shared between two strangers. It is beautiful in its simplicity.

What video (music or otherwise) or photo describes you? Interpret this however you like. It doesn’t have to be anything serious or thoughtful but please explain why you chose it, if you please. Play along by commenting or posting on your blog if you like. I don’t mind if you “don’t like” either ;)

Ok enough sappiness. My mom shared this humorous little video with me yesterday. Although it is described as “a guide to finding the right husband,” I promise it is all in jest.

Oh hello.
I don't think we know each other, but I'm blog stalking you because I think you're really cool and stuff.
Also, I think I sleep in your old room.
Not creepy, right?

Oh that wood-panelled room! I am curious to know whether you picked the top or bottom bunk.
