In dummy glasses and a cardigan

Oh hello. It feels like I have been gone forever even though I was only gone for a mere five days. I just got back from a little trip to SA and it was MAGIC. I will definitely be sharing more about the trip later.

I was supposed to play with/ watch nephew number 5 today but my back managed to start hurting massively (Why? I have no idea.). So there was no play date for the Don and me today. I am 21 and obviously have zero children and therefore in my mind have no reason for this. The whole back pain thing makes no sense. I have to say it scares me a little (twice in the past 3 years it’s been bad enough that I haven’t been able to walk for a few days and my back is feeling pretty similarly at the moment). What is going to happen when I do get older and do have children? My theory, as far as why I get the pain, is that because I used to have a rather strong back and used to be pretty flexible, (Playing volleyball, tennis, and *cough* cheer *cough*, I used my back muscles quite a bit.) my back is like “Leah what’s with this no exercise/ being out of shape thing? You need to fix this or I will fix you.” Yeah I agree with you. My back is kind of a jerk but it’s also probably right. Looks like it’s time I start doing some yoga or something.

Okay, so you don’t believe me when I say that I used to be athletic? To be honest, sometimes even I find it hard to believe. Well, here’s a little proof (these are not costumes I promise):

Sorry the quality of this one is so terrible.
(Alisha, Beatrice, Jaimie and me our senior year)

See Kari, this really happened. Remember how you
were saying it was hard for you to imagine me actually
playing? My sweatiness in this photo is your proof.

Oh dear...
P.S. This fan made video for “Little Bribes” became official when DCFC declared it so. It’s definitely worth watching. Read more about it here.
