I know I tend to exaggerate. A lot. But I think my heart literally just skipped a beat. I was quite shocked by its loveliness. I guess I acted dramatic enough for Kari to think something was legitimately wrong. This discovery is all thanks to my new friend Monica whose blog I have just been stalking. This video is “a bike ride and picnic on a summer day followed by skipping through wildflowers and finishing off with an old black and white movie in the park” type of heart stop. Well even better really. Just watch and you'll see/hear.
Apparently I can't seem to get enough of French (well really Québecois) songstresses (aka I want to be them), so you may as well look at this video while your at it.
P.S. This happened today:
I received two new soon to be scars! One to hang out with the cute one above my eyebrow and one on my left arm to match its twin on my right arm. Ever since I was a little girl I've periodically gotten these "bumps" (Do not look up pictures. They're gross. Luckily mine have never really looked gross.) and they're really cool. The only way to remove them is by incision. No one's sure why I get so many.
I woke up this morning, took a shower and put on my polka dot headband to make me brave. The dermatologist explained to me that it was NBD and would be a quick surgery and why not also take out the one that's been on my arm for 5+ years? I turned on Sufjan so I would be calm. The numbing shot was the only part that really hurt. I was sure to close my eyes for the duration. Five songs, and five stitches (2 on my forehead, 3 on my arm) later and it's a brand new me.
Kari's really excited for me too!
