Anyway, back to the sweetest part of all. I found this pearl of a record player at D.I. yesterday.
shiny knobs housed in my favorite colors
through rows of mermaid entwined shrubbery
After realizing my last record player had no chance of being revived, I have been on the lookout for a “new” one ever since. I’ve been dreaming of a little French Teppaz, but I know they are pretty impossible to come by especially on my budget. This little guy may be bulkier than what I was imagining but he is sturdy, dependable, portable and ready to please! Isn’t he the cutest? I can’t wait for the dance parties, sing alongs and late night rendezvous we’ll share.
P.S. Over the next 4 weeks (the amount of time it’ll take for my roots to become unbearable again) I am going to decide whether or not to go back to my naturalish color (light brown). I am considering this for a number of reasons/ possibilities. I used to look like this:

Uh, not fair! Is that thing tube powered? (It should be easy enough to tell: tube powered stuff takes a few moments to warm up when you turn it on. (But then it's harder to tell with a record player so it might be not as easy to tell after all.) That, and you can crank tube powered stuff super loud and it usually sounds amazing when you do. Maybe the easiest thing to do is to find the brand and model and look it up online.) If it is tube I'll try not to hate you.
