Pay it Forward

I'm not usually that into blog chains or whatever you want to call things like this, but I think this could be neat. My sister had it on her blog but I wasn't going to sign up to get a gift from her because come’ on, she does enough for me already! I patiently waited over a week for 3 people to sign up and only one person did. I couldn't take it any more so I went ahead and commented. Besides I really wanted to continue the game by posting it on my blog. So here goes:

How it works: The FIRST THREE people to leave a comment on this post will receive at some point during this year a gift from ME. What it will be and when it will arrive will be a total surprise. The CATCH is that YOU MUST PLAY TOO! Before you leave your comment here, write a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going (you can cut and paste these instructions). Then come back and let me know that you are going to play, and sit back and anticipate the arrival of your gift.

P.S. Can't wait to see you all! Arizona has been first-class but I have been dreaming of what this summer holds in store for quite a while now. Also, I have a new baby nephew named Donovan. He is a darling little boy.

Just so everyone is clear, 3 people can still play if they want since Thome doesn't want to. I hope this isn't confusing with two comments already made. I am not giving a present to myself and I am definitely not giving one to Thome.

New rule. You don't have to pay it forward or put this on your blog. I made this change because I am sitting here with Kari on the eve of our first day of classes and she has agreed to comment if she doesn't have to do anything. I will agree to just about anything if it means blog participation from Kari. This is a real treat!

Tom: I guess this means I will be giving you a gift for your birthday after all.

Quinn: Were you thinking you were reading Amy's blog? I am not from Indiana. Nothing against your state Amy!

Wow, I think this is the first time I've seen a comment from Kari. Kari, you should blog more.

Leah, if you want to count me in retrospect, I think you could cuz I've been the benefactor of your thoughtfulness on numerous occasions.
