it's the coolest invention of the 20th century... i wish i had one (click here or on the cassette). i would have had to have a mixtape making boyfriend in 3rd grade at the latest. were any boys making mixtapes for girls at that age?
mixtapes changed my life. my sister would always make me one for my birthday. i was way cooler in third grade, with my love of Weezer, ska and blue suede vans shoes while everyone was listening to spice girls, than i am now. maybe we should bring mixtapes back. it takes a heck-of a lot more time than a mix cd. especially if you dont have a tape player.
